The Cool Club: human series
For the Cool Club, a creative bureau founded by Wonderland Amsterdam, I had the full creative freedom to illustrate playing card sets featuring the greatest & most iconic international stars alive and those who passed away.
Having total creative freedom, the challenge was to illustrate people in a simplified way, but recognizable at the same time. In 3 years I created 4 human series, consisting of 58 cards each.
Unfortunately only the classics set was allowed to be sold in stores due to copyright issues. Nevertheless I had a great time illustrating these characters and definitely proud with these characters.
